The Trans-Eurasia Express is becoming an attractive alternative for more and more products and goods, strengthening the economic and temporal links between Asia and Europe across all the borders in between. For instance, the train runs from Duisburg, Germany through the Commonwealth of Independent States to Chongqing (China) and takes around 20 days. This also has a real added ecological value, saving up to 95% of CO₂ emissions compared to standard means of transport.
